Chad Rasmussen

Chad Rasmussen is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who has been seeing patients in the emergency department at RHSHC since August of 2018, and since August of 2019, has expanded his practice to the Cresco Medical Clinic. His specialty is the care and management of patients of all ages, whether they present to the clinic or emergency department, with anything from a sore throat to critical illness or injury.

Chad's extensive experience in health care dates back to 1990. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa in 1996 and his Master of Science at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2005. Most recently, Chad has been working as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Supervisor in Critical Care, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2005, is dual-certified in Family Practice and Emergency/Trauma, with additional experience in cardiology.
