Haleigh Rae Pagel, APRN

Haleigh Pagel, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, joined the medical staff of RHSHC in August of 2018.

Haleigh has an extensive education and background in nursing, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Allen College in Waterloo, Iowa in May of 2014, and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, in June of 2018 from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. She worked in the Intensive Care Unit at Allen Hospital in Waterloo and also worked at Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner, Iowa. Haleigh may look familiar as she has been in the Cresco Medical Clinic in 2017-2018 where she was been completing her clinical rotation in family practice.

Haleigh stated, “Being a nurse practitioner is not only a profession, but a passion for me. I am able to do what I love, which is to help people in need. Not only am I able to impact the lives of my patients, but they are able to impact mine as well. While I loved being a registered nurse, I always felt I wanted to be able to give my patients more, which prompted me to further my education and become a family nurse practitioner.”
