Jon David Maher, MD

J. David Maher, MD, joined the staff of the Cresco Medical Clinic and Regional Health Services of Howard County in May of 2012.

Dr. Maher is originally from Tipton, Iowa. He attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, and then the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Dr. Maher specializes in a full spectrum of family practice including obstetrical services. He has a special interest in occupational health and also in sports health and treating athletic injuries to get you back into your game. Same day appointments at the clinic with Dr. Maher are generally available if at all possible. Dr. Maher has been recognized by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for "long-term AAFP membership for his role in helping establish the specialty of family medicine, for maintaining the high standards and principles of medicine, and for his commitment to continuing, comprehensive quality care for the American public."
