How HCHS is Protecting Your Health

Safety for our employees and the people we serve is paramount. HCHS has implemented an Incident Command Center to guide local COVID-19 preparedness and activities. HCHS providers and team members meet regularly to review the current recommendations and disseminate that information to the appropriate staff. HCHS team members also are participating calls with the Iowa Department of Public Health.

HCHS SERVICES

All services at HCHS are available for patients to schedule their appointment.

Upon entering a HCHS facility, patients will be screened and asked to wear a masks for their protection as well as for the protection of others.

ENTRANCES AND SECURITY

• All patients and visitors arriving for an appointment at the hospital or hospital-based service, including at the Emergency Department, need to come through the hospital's MAIN ENTRANCE/EMERGENCY ENTRANCE. Signage on the outside of the building is clearly lit in the evening for your convenience.
• Patients of the Britt Medical Clinic can enter through the Clinic.

VISITOR RESTRICTIONS

• Visitors must enter through Main Entrance and be checked in at the front desk. All visitors are required to wear masks.
