Nursing Facility

Franklin Country View Nursing Facility is the beautiful place our residents call home. It is where our staff provide kind, compassionate and professional care to residents who become like family. It is also where residents have easy access to clinic and hospital services without having to go outdoors in inclement weather.

Franklin Country View Nursing Facility is a 52-bed, intermediate care facility attached to Franklin General Hospital. The comfortable, up-to-date accommodations include spacious, semi-private rooms, as well as 12 private rooms, each with a private bathroom and shower.

In addition to 24-hour professional care, daily life includes emotional support and meaningful, enjoyable activities. Other features include wireless internet, Dish Network television, a beauty and barber shop, library, whirlpool bath and courtyard areas. Our Dietary department prepares appetizing, nutritious meals and snacks, with specialized and therapeutic diets as appropriate. Housekeeping and laundry services are also provided.

Many residents live in the facility on a temporary basis while doing rehabilitation therapy to gain the strength they need to return home.

Other medical services available in-house include: lab, radiology, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and emergency services. Appointments with many specialists are also available in-house. Those include orthopedics, cardiology, podiatry, ENT, neurology, urology, ophthalmology, audiology and palliative care/pain clinic. Franklin Country View also works closely with MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.
