Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Hansen Family Hospital and Clinics are continuing to follow official guidelines related to COVID-19.  The main symptoms of this respiratory illness include shortness of breath, fever, and cough, and can spread through person-to-person contact (within 6 feet) and respiratory droplets (coughing and sneezing).

Preventing COVID-19

• VACCINATION is the leading public health prevention strategy to end the pandemic
• STAY HOME as much as possible (especially if you are feeling ill)
• UNIVERSAL MASKING is recommended indoors, regardless of vaccination status
• PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING: Minimize contact with others and maintain a distance of at least 6 feet
• WASH YOUR HANDS frequently for 20 seconds with warm soap and water
• AVOID TOUCHING your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
• COVER your cough
• DRINK plenty of fluids
• CLEAN high touch surface areas frequently

If you are feeling ill

CALL FIRST: If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms or are feeling unwell, call Hansen Family Hospital at 641-648-7000 BEFORE coming to the hospital.  It is important you do not arrive unannounced.

You will be instructed to park in our designated Respiratory Clinic parking area on the left side of the front parking lot.  Please DO NOT enter the facility unannounced.

When you arrive onsite, please call 641-648-7000 and one of our staff will provide you with instructions on when to enter the building and will escort you to our Respiratory Clinic.  It is important you remain masked upon entry to the facility and the entire time you are in the building.
