Ways to Give

HANSEN FAMILY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

The Hansen Family Hospital Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of healthcare in Hardin County and improving the well-being of our community.  Our mission "to foster charitable partnerships that enhance healthcare for those we have the privilege to serve" aligns with our commitment to meeting the health needs in our community through high quality, affordable, and convenient care.  We believe the collaboration between local organizations and community members is vital to rural healthcare and strengthens the quality of care available in our county.

About the Foundation

The Hansen Family Hospital Foundation was established in 2001 as an independent organization to raise money to support the hospital.  Funds raised by the Foundation may not be used for any purpose other than to benefit the Hospital and its mission.

Over the past years, the Foundation has received thousands of gifts amounting to more than $12.5 million in donations. With these proceeds the Foundation has provided Hansen Family Hospital with funding for capital equipment, renovation projects, and the construction of a new hospital facility.

The Foundation is committed to serving the needs of the hospital and the community. The hospital is critical to community viability, and helping to match the needs of the community to those offered at the hospital is paramount. A renewed sense of urgency and need has arisen with the changing rural healthcare climate in recent years.

Foundation Fund Management

The Finance and Investment Committee, a subcommittee of the Foundation Board of Directors, recommends how the Foundation funds are invested and disbursed.  Foundation funds are currently invested in certificates of deposit, mutual funds and interest-bearing money market accounts.

We can help you match our philanthropic opportunities with your values.
