Convenient Scheduling
Patients of Hansen Family Hospital Family Practice Clinics can self-schedule an annual screening mammogram by calling our department directly. If you are 40 years or older and have no history of breast symptoms or complaints, you can call 641-648-7135 to schedule your mammogram. If your general physician is outside of our organization, appointments can be scheduled through a written referral. If you are experiencing symptoms or have concerns, please contact your physician prior to scheduling an appointment.

Financial Assistance for Screening & Diagnostic Mammograms
Early detection is the key to fighting breast cancer and we don't want financial barriers to restrict your access to regular screenings. There are financial options available to help cover these services if assistance is needed:

Care for Yourself Program
With the Care for Yourself many women are eligible for free or low-cost breast cancer screenings (clinical breast exams and mammograms), along with other testing needs for those who meet certain qualifications. Spirit of Sharing (SOS) Charity Program

Hansen Family Hospital's Mammography Fund
Hansen Family Hospital’s Mammography Fund is a restricted fund through the foundation that provides monetary assistance to those in need of mammography services and who meet certain criteria. This fund covers annual mammography screenings and diagnostic mammograms and helps ensure financial barriers don't restrict your access to timely care.
