Helping our patients confidently returning to their best life possible.

Sometimes a patient is ready to leave acute hospital care, but is not well enough to return home. Certain skilled nursing services (or Swing Beds) offer a level of hospitalized care to help a patient through the transition.

At Hansen Family Hospital, skilled patients are cared for in the Acute Care wing of the hospital by our staff of health care professionals.

There are a couple of ways a patient can utilize Skilled Care at Hansen Family Hospital. A Discharge Planner from another facility may assist in transferring a patient to Hansen Family Hospital. Or, in some cases, a patient may stay in the same hospital bed moving from one level of care to another.

Skilled patients at Hansen Family Hospital receive our high quality of care, with better staff-to-patient ratios than larger facilities. Best of all, patients can recover while they are closer to families, friends, and loved ones.
